Fall is quickly approaching in Minnesota. Along with it comes pumpkins, chili, cider, colorful crunchy leaves, football and flannels. And that’s not all! The annual Crosslake Days weekend is scheduled for Thursday, September 23 through Saturday, September 25th. It is one of our top ten activities in the area. If you haven’t participated before, or have simply dabbled in a few of the festivities, think about choosing at least three of the events to enjoy. Do you remember years ago when we had street dances at the fire hall? Ace Hardware is stepping up and bringing back the street dance on Saturday night! Guaranteed: there will be something for everyone to enjoy, even if you don’t own dancing shoes. You can at least eat chili, right? The chili cookoff will happen all day on Saturday at various places around town. You eat, you vote, you smile.
It is definitely worth looking into purchasing a VIP badge for the Crosslake Days events as you will enjoy discounts and promotions throughout the weekend. You may purchase a badge at participating businesses in the area. Discounts include savings at 14 Lakes Brewery, Jag Interior Solutions, Lakes Area Crafts and Cones, and the Lakes Area Gallery and Frame Shoppe. More venders may be added after this article has been published, so check before you head out to the various events.
